[MODULE_01] // COREKINETICS (SYSTEM & DISK I/O)

• ASYNC BACKGROUND AUTOSAVE Tired of the game freezing for a second every time it autosaves during flight? Kortex moves the saving routine onto a separate background CPU thread. Your simulation stays completely smooth while your progress is safely written. Includes a rotating multi-backup feature to keep your saves secure.

[MODULE_02] // PERFORMANCEFLUX (CPU & MEMORY SMOOTHING)

• GARBAGE COLLECTION EVADER (POOLING) KSP constantly re-allocates memory for active ships, triggering Unity's Garbage Collector and causing annoying micro-stutters every 20 seconds. Kortex intercepts these heavy loops and redirects them into a static, thread-safe memory pool, starving the GC and smoothing out your frametime.

• DYNAMIC UI REFRESH THROTTLE Heavy user interface panels (like resources or staging) try to refresh on every single physics tick, tanking your FPS on large ships. Kortex caps these updates to a clean 10 Hz. You won't notice any loss in readability, but your CPU will get massive breathing room.

• MAP MODE PORTRAIT CULLING Why waste valuable CPU power rendering and animating 3D Kerbal portraits when you are busy looking at the orbital map? Kortex completely pauses portrait rendering loops while Map Mode is active.

• ADAPTIVE FRAME STABILIZER When your ship undergoes extreme structural stress or intense staging, Kortex smooths out severe physics lag by micro-adjusting the active game timestep. It trades a tiny bit of slowdown (yellow clock) to prevent harsh visual hitching.

• DISK LOG ANTI SPAM Some mods love to spam thousands of repetitive error lines into your KSP.log file. This heavy disk activity triggers random stuttering. Kortex intercepts and mutes these infinite warning loops to keep your game running smoothly.

• CLOSED PAYLOAD MESH CULLING By default, parts hidden inside closed fairings or cargo bays are still pushed to your graphics card. Kortex dynamically cuts shadows on the necessary meshes and saves GPU ressources.

• SHADOW CASCADE GOVERNOR KSP's legacy shadow rendering system is notorious for causing launchpad lag. Kortex restructures the shadow pipeline and forces stable shadow projections, giving you a clean +10 to +15 FPS boost near planetary surfaces and launch pads while eliminating shadow flickering.
