BLEAK gives KSP a cold, washed-out look instead of a punchy one. Saturation sits well below stock, the colour leans slightly blue, and an ACES tonemap keeps bright terrain and ice from blowing out. Exposure adapts gradually, so rolling out of shadow into direct sunlight settles over a moment instead of snapping.
It doesn't try to make KSP photoreal. Think of it as a colour grade: the game's own art holds up fine, it just looks flat under stock lighting.
Umia --> the baseline grade. Cool, heavily desaturated, with soft bloom and motion blur
Everon --> Umia, cooler, with deeper shadows and a touch of chromatic aberration
Borealis --> darker, with strong bloom and ambient occlusion. Built for orbit and the night side
Borealis - Editor --> Borealis without ambient occlusion or bloom, so the VAB and SPH stay readable while you build
